The ANVIL Group is a City & Guilds approved training centre. This accreditation and endorsement ensures that our training programmes deliver the highest standards of quality assurance and certification.
The ANVIL Group is approved for delivery of all the following vocational qualifications from our Northern Ireland training centre:
1884: Conflict Management
1886: Level 3 Trainers Certificate in Conflict Management
1900: Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors
1902: Level 2 Certificate for Security Guards
1903: Close Protection
1904: CCTV Operator
Level 3 NVQ: Close Protection, including a 24-hour recommended refresher for previously trained/experienced CPO's.
Our Close Protection courses meet and exceed the requirements set out by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The ANVIL Group was the very first company to be awarded SIA Approved Contractor status. The approval gives The ANVIL Group legal authorisation to deploy Close Protection Officers who have completed the legally required training, but who are awaiting issue of their license. It is illegal for a business to deploy unlicensed officers unless they are approved under the Approved Contractor scheme.
The ANVIL Group manages an Employer Assistance Programme and maintains regular contact with security sector employers, to ensure candidates are placed appropriately within the industry.
In addition to the above courses, The ANVIL Group offers training for a wide range of specialist subjects, including travel policy; pre-trip preparation; frequent travellers; situational awareness and hostile or harsh environment. Courses can be delivered in a variety of formats, such as eLearning, On-Site, Residential, Executive Coaching, Groups or One-to-One.
