TRIS is unique in the way it classifies and distributes alerts. Two alert types are available:
Profile Alerts
Individual users have full control over setting which category of incident, threat level and country or city location for the alerts they wish to receive.
Proximity Alerts
Organisations can enable the system to syndicate email alerts to nominated individuals when incidents occur within an agreed area of a physical asset, such as office premises, production facilities or expatriate compounds.
In addition, TRIS provides Security Departments, Travel Managers and individual travellers with a wealth of continuously updated travel risk information consolidated into one central resource. Users can access vital pre and active trip information, such as security overviews, health information and warden messages/travel warning for every country and major city in the world. Security Managers are able to compile customized risk assessments and security briefings, whilst dynamically and proactively setting travel safety policy.
